AMERICA'S HOPE

As this great nation began, is did so with one motto. IN GOD WE TRUST. That is the founders and leaders knew the necessity of trusting in the God who created all things. Who better to place their trust in than the creator? Over the years some have seemed to lose hope in the possibility of the survival of this great nation.

However in light of today's leadership and all the troubles we face we must remember in whom we put our trust. Our hope cannot be in our President or any part of our government, but rather in Jesus Christ alone. As Christians we must hope and believe that our awesome God will see us through every problem.

We then can continue to follow the instructions of Titus 2:13, "Looking for the blessed hope and the glorious appearing of the great God, and our Savior Jesus Christ. Have you placed your hope in Jesus Christ?"

America's hope has been and must always be in Jesus Christ our soon coming King.

Consider your ways

Why is America in such financial trouble? It must be because we have forgotten God's ways, and followed man's ways. There is no one in Washington that knows how to tell the truth. How can we have a balanced budget, when no one can explain where our money is going? We do not have a money problem we have a spending problem. Part of the problem is we have failed to follow God's word. Our government has thrown God's word out of our schools and government buildings, and then we ask, why does God not bless us?

America has fallen into the same place the people were in, in Haggai's day as they forgot about God's house. They were only concerned about their own wealth. (Haggai 1: 5-9) gives us the reason we are in such a condition today. When will we consider our ways and build God's house? When will America fall on their knees in Repentance?

America's Freedoms.

Our Freedoms in America are slowly being taken away. The Righteousness of God is being over run by wickedness and unrighteousness. Surely we as Christians can see what is happening. Are we prepared to stand up and be noticed in these last days of time, before the Lord returns.

It seems that many Christians and churches have become complacent and are willing to give up without a fight, so to speak. It appears we are willing to allow unrighteous and evil men and women of this day to dictate, what we can do or believe as Christians, Could this be what Jude was meaning as he wrote in Jude 3 "That we should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints?" It most assuredly time to pray and seek God.
