THE FLAG

We the people of America, the land of the free and the home of the brave, have been blessed with God's Blessings in the past. We have been blessed to worship God our creator and enjoy all the Freedoms of this nation.

As this nation was beginning, we were given a flag as a symbol of our Freedom, and most of us are happy to fly it over our homes and businesses. We are proud to salute it at all types of events, as a reminder of our Freedoms.

But did you know that the President and First lady have not, do not, and will not salute our American Flag, calling it a symbol of oppression. They have even attended flag burning ceremonies. The President even refers to our National Anthem, as a war like message, and does not stand at attention when it is sung in his presence. (According to Meet the Press).

The American Flag is a symbol of the Freedoms God has given to us, and should be displayed on Sunday September the 11th, as we remember all who lost their lives on that day. when we look at our Flag, may it remind us we are still free.

Christian Freedoms

Every day we as Christians live in America, the land of the free, we are losing more and more of our freedoms. Case in point. The Mayor of New York city has passed a ruling that for the 911 commemoration this year, there will be no clergy or firemen in attendance. These were the first two groups on the scene, on that day of tragedy.

How sad it is to know in a Christian nation that our ministry cannot stand together, at that site on September 11th to offer prayers for the families of those who lost their lives that day.

How long will America continue to be a Christian Nation???

America's Warnings.

America The Beautiful, for many years has been a Nation founded on God's Holy Word and the ways of Righteousness. However in the last few years it has turned and taken a different direction. That direction is leading us away from God's plans for His people. We are quickly being directed to the ways of immoral and unrighteousness living. The ways that displease our Holy and Righteous God in Heaven.

When will our leaders of this United States begin to see that God has been sending us warnings of which we seem to ignore? The recent tragedies of the Earthquake and the Hurricane should remind us that God is calling us to Repentance. Also we are experiencing a storm in the Gulf of Mexico, as we write this article.

Both the Hurricane and the earthquake touched our Nations Capital, Hello all of our leaders, especially our President, who also felt the Earthquake while he was on vacation.

God is speaking to America by way of the many troubles that have come and are coming.
